At Woofs ‘n Whiskers, The Urban Dog and Cat Retreat, your dog will enjoy our 6,000 square foot outdoor play space. Our daily play schedule is designed to provide socialization and exercise balanced with indoor nap time. It is our strong belief that providing the proper balance between rest and play is the key to a well-balanced, happy, healthy dog.
The kennel team assigns appropriate play groups based on each dog’s size, age, temperament, and individual needs. The staff supervises each play session to ensure that all guests are playing safely. We also encourage good doggie behavior, proper socialization and having fun. Our staff enjoys a good game of fetch and a romp in the sun just as much as the pooches!
When the dogs are resting, they are inside, in their own comfortable, individual accommodations with a fresh water bowl and afternoon biscuits. There is plenty of room to stretch and nap in comfort. Our goal is to return home a tired and happy pooch.
We require receipt of all shot records prior to your pet’s arrival. All dogs must be currently vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper (DHPP), and Bordetella; which is a semi-annual vaccination in New York City. Please note that your dog must be fully inoculated at least 48 HOURS prior to the start of the reservation.
