When I first moved to Red Hook, years ago, my mom and I would make it a point to walk past Woofs 'n Whiskers just so she could pick me up and let me see all the dogs. Working here is every bit as rewarding as it was on my first day back in January 2016. I have met amazing people, both clients and co-workers. I even adopted my own kitten, Cyrus, through Woofs 'n Whiskers. Cyrus came to us at a few days old after being rescued from a burning building by a fireman. Nurturing and caring for him with the help of my teammates was a life changing experience and a wonderful learning opportunity. It taught me to treat every guest at Woofs with the level of care I would want for my own family pets. Animals have always provided me with comfort. Now I am able to bring that level of comfort to our guests and their owners.
