Meet Lana
General Manager
I graduated with a degree in Computer Science and was working retail when I found the listing for Woofs. It described an office environment where I could work with both animals and people, which is exactly what I wanted. I started at the front desk, getting to know the clients and their pets, before becoming the Front Desk Manager, and then the General Manager.
It was at Woofs that I fostered and then adopted my second cat, Nacho. A coworker's brother and fireman valiantly rescued three kittens from a burning building. The kittens were brought to our facility and I immediately fell in love with the little orange one, though he's not so little anymore! All three kittens were adopted by Woofs team members. We've been able to reunite them for play dates every week or so; our treatment of our own pets speaks to the true love of animals that we all feel.
I love working closely with the Woofs' team. Being a small business creates family-like ties and that extends to our clients. The wonderful relationships built between our clients, their pets, and the staff is what makes working at Woofs 'n Whiskers such a pleasure and I'm honored to be a part of it.
"Lana is my right hand. I trust her implicitly to make fair decisions that help Woofs not only meet but exceed our clients' expectations." - Danielle
